Walker Ultra Hold with Brush 1.4oz
Ultra Hold is the leading standard for soft bonds on the market for over 15 years and is our most popular Maximum Wear adhesive. An acrylic adhesive with consistent 4+ week hold times. Ultra Hold changed the industry by introducing an acrylic adhesive that could compete with the previously dominant silicone based adhesives. It removes easily and has a quick cleanup for a liquid adhesive. Plus it dries clear and stays strong, making Ultra Hold a rock-solid choice for long term hold.
Hold
Maximum Wear (3-5 weeks) adhesives are the longest lasting adhesives we make. Depending on temperature, humidity, and body oils, they can last up to six weeks. Usually the most tacky, they require more skill to apply.
Directions
Before bonding, prepare skin and base with 99% Alcohol to remove residues. Then, apply a thin layer of adhesive to the skin and base, and blow dry until very tacky. Next, press the hair system onto the skin and hold firmly for 10 seconds. Do not swim, workout, or shampoo for at least 24 hours.

DIRECTIONS
Prepare client’s scalp with 99% Alcohol and Max Hold Sport. Use sponge brushes to apply a thin, even coat of ULTRA HOLD to scalp, and blow dry until tacky. Repeat once more, then press hair system onto scalp, firmly holding for 10 seconds.
CAUTION
Close cap tightly. Do not breathe fumes. Store below 90°F Test on small area before use. Keep out of reach of children. External use only. Avoid eye contact.

Yes, it’s messy as can be. But, once you learn how to use it (lots of trial and error) it’s SO worth it. Coming out of the bottle with the applicator, the glue is very sticky, And long strings of glue can attach. GETTING EVERYWHERE, but, if you Simply make circles with your hand, holding the applicator, and wrap the string of glue around the Brush until the String detaches. Then apply the glue using the brush. Bam, no mess.

I used Ghost Bond for about 7 months and started in the summer. It would come lose within a week, sometimes days, and that’s with 3 layers. The humidity, and the sweating from working out, it left me self-conscious. Sure, at first I was able to keep it on for 3-4 weeks, but as soon as I wanted to do active things, it would start to slip.
Fast forward to Walker and I must say… your unit isn’t going anywhere. I use 2 layers and forget it. This sucker is on through all the workouts, rock climbing, sweating, and I have a poly unit. But this stuff is strong. The only real issue is remembering that I have something on my head and that I need to remove it once a month.
My only real gripe is the edges. It does dry with a lil sheen, so I use the ghost for that. Otherwise, this is the best stuff out there.

I’ve tried so many in the past and that includes ghost bond. All of them either don’t hold the wigs in place, or you see the glue almost every time. This glue is easy to use, stays on, and is completely transparent! I have never worn a wig more than a day or two. With this stuff, I wore my latest addition for a week!! And it only came off with remover! This product is inexpensive, cheaper than most actually, and is simply the best out there!

Great product. Holds great on a poly unit, easy to clean up with a proper remover. Suggest prepping the scalp with max hold scalp protector.
The brush inside gets messy. Remove it and throw it away. Go to the pharmacy and by a makeup brush called then angle. When done put in a shot glass with rubbing alcohol. I let mine soak until next use. Wipe it off on a towel. More like pinch it with towl and pull out. Removes the glue sludge.

I have a install bald cap method with ULTRA HOLD , with a 2×6 part and 3 1/2 bundles of 100%mink hair , I also Glued my edges all around with ULTRA HOLD , look at my photo my edges are beyond melted

I’m new to using hair glue and this is the only glue that holds for me. I have heat intolerance and sweat randomly and excessively and it stays put. I even had a fully submerged shower and still held well. Too many times my closure has lifted in public due to inadequate glue.
However the application is annoying and messy.
